The Australian Mushroom Growers’ Association produce a journal magazine for the industry four times per year.
I was contracted to assist in writing articles, edit copy and coordinate the layout of journals. For two years, I worked with an experienced editor who trusted me to produce print-ready copy on very short notice. We also facilitated the transition from paper-based journals every quarter to electronic delivery, resulting in significant savings for the Industry body. This contract was of significant value to my client. Feedback from the growers’ consortium was very positive and resulted in my client being re-awarded the industry contract for an additional two years after a very competitive tender process.
