Baptist World Aid

Baptist World Aid tackles the injustice of global poverty in partnership with like-minded agencies overseas. Their aid model is to empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty, challenging injustice and building resilience.

The organisation needed a brand specialist to communicate project needs to supporters and encourage brand loyalty. I was engaged to be ‘the voice’ of the organisation, sharing stories of change and building supporter engagement. I wrote articles for magazines, provided website content, social media posts, wrote fundraising materials and hosted talks and events. It was an exciting time of growth and expansion for the organisation which meant tight deadlines and development of innovative programs. One of our teams big success stories was the launch of the Ethical Fashion Reports which were extensively reported in mainstream media and resulted in a sizeable growth of our supporter base.
